The Perks of Raising a Wild Thing

This sweet boy is going all out as baby Max for Halloween this year. We dirtied up the costume today to give it that real authentic look for the big day. Can I tell you just how much I love having a little boy? I love the distinctly male noises that erupt from his mouth. I love the outside smell in his hair when I nuzzle his head after a long day. I love his passion for dirt and rocks and leaves. I love his belly laugh and his shy smile. I love the way he studies his daddy and the intensity of his focus when he tries on dad's shoes. I love the dump trucks and legos and animal blocks that are strewn across our living room rug, waiting patient for nap time to be over. I love, love, love being a boy momma.
