These sweet people. Seriously. Ashley was one of the first people who helped California feel like home. We met just as I was finding my footing and getting my bearings and she has been family away from family since. It's only your mom, and this kind of friend, who would offer to keep your sleep-regressed baby overnight, so that you can see straight for the first time in days. We did a "photoshoot swap" at the beach last weekend, and she did an amazing job capturing all that we are during this crazy season of life.
