Anthony & Addison

This precious couple invited me into their home one Sunday a few weeks back. They have begun the achingly beautiful journey towards adoption and asked me to shoot for their adoption profile book. 

And my heart nearly burst.

Because I knew this sweet woman years ago, before marriage, before college, before high school. Before the days and weeks and months that so gently and fiercely led her and her husband towards adoption.  And standing in their home, laughing with them, praying for their baby, asking big things for their child's birth mom, those were minutes larger than my heart had capacity for.
